Becoming Sapient
We think of humans as sapient, that is to say, intelligent life. But the hallmark of intelligence is self knowledge: knowing that we know who we are and who we are not. Self knowledge is not always our experience of reality. We constantly astound ourselves by missing signals that seem obvious in hindsight. We constantly make other people’s stories into our own and blame them when they don’t work out.
We assume that everyone wants what we want and give people what we desire to receive. We expect gratitude and when none is forthcoming, we make their lack of appreciation about ourselves. We say things like “how do you think it makes me feel, that you never wear that dress I gave you?” We think their actions should be based on our desires, not their own.
We can’t see the difference between the essence of who we are and the stories we spin about who we are. We pretend to be who we are not and forget that we are pretending. When our reality doesn’t deliever what our image was supposed to create for us, we blame our bodies and act self destructive and sadistic.
Essence signals its truth by Afferents. Every cell receives, sends and relays signals, or calls from its dream soul collective to do what fulfills that body’s reasons for being alive. Intercellular signaling allows the body to act as a coherent unit. It is a sophisticated communication system that keeps the cosmos evolving as a single consciousness.
Every intelligent life form is equipped with a dense covering of sensors that send signals to the world about their status. This allows the body to respond appropriately to excesses or deficits, absence of fulfillment or pathogenic presence.
Humans don’t revere this inner Genius. We don’t pay attention to its messages and often ignore its directives. We teach our children to silence their inner dictates and follow what their educators, parents, elders and social programs tell them.
“Feel the fear and do it anyway.”
“If it’s not hard, its not worth doing.”
Suffering is treated as if it were a form of love, rather than masochism. Self sacrifice is often confused with duty or reciprocal obligation.
None of these beliefs are compatible with self knowledge. If we were really as ignorant, as non-sapient, as our actions suggest, we would not pretend to be intelligent life.
Which is it? Do we deceive ourselves by claiming to have intelligence? Or do we deceive ourselves by acting as if we were still neanderthals, waging war against our reflections?
We know from experience that many among us still believe that vengeance is justice and that the body is an object to be controlled, disciplined, coerced into compliance.
We reward competition instead of complementarity. We mimick delusional behavior of public figures who claim credit for good things that happen and point fingers at scapegoats when their claims are exposed as fraudulent.
But proving their powerlessness doesn’t stop us from keeping them in office, discussing ad nauseam, their claims and scams, and pretending these endless debates are somehow news, worthy of our attention. None of these behaviors seem very intelligent to me.
If any self knowledge is involved in these stories, they must be about idiots, competing for the Biggest Scamster Award.
We can’t change our ancestors but we don’t have to re-live their mental illnesses. We can dream of bliss for all of us instead of suffering. We can start loving our sentient nature and honoring its calls for fulfillment. We can follow our nature’s dictates religiously.
Health, happiness, fulfillment and an inclusive world are just some of the most immediate benefits, that might also save our species from extinction.
Three Remedies
Overwhelming evidence suggests that our stories about ourselves create our experience of reality. Unlike our physical bodies programmed by nature, our mental programs come from socialization. Since much of socialization repeats stories about past, now dead people, their mental constructs become our hopes, dreams, limitations, self destruction and suffering.
Release the Past
Releasing the past is the first remedy for beliefs based on pre-sapient human consciousness.
Everything that is over two days old is dead and past. Life has moved on from its forms. They are no longer real, and definitely not binding.
Love Being You
Whatever we may think about first cause of cosmic life, we know that whatever it was, is all there is in the cosmos now. Physically, we are all descendants of the clouds of dust and gases that became our galaxies, planets and forms of nature. These miracles if nature are spectacular, beyond comprehension by human consciousness.
But Life! That is a different matter. Life came billions of years after form. Life boggles the mind with its variety if forms, each following the dictates of its nature, living and thriving, until its nature’s cycle of miracles is completed. Then dying in a giant gift of its own, as it becomes food for another life form.
But in all these forms of nature, the creator has no companion. What is the use of self fulfillment if there is no one to share it with? What is the point of inexhaustible wonders, if no one knows about them?
That, I believe, is why the creator decided to become incarnate human form: to be reflected, loved, known and lived fully, by reflecting its miracle nature.
Everybody has their own version of miracles. For me, it is a dream that becomes form, without any external input. “No external input” differentiates miracles from creations.
I was mesmerized by the fax machine. Still am. I am dazzled by the steady stream of inventions that make my life a seamless miracle in itself. But we know that human steps were taken to make these inventions happen. We don’t allow ourselves to perceive the miraculous absence of external input.
Yes, ABSENCE of external input. Apparently, the Being who caused the cosmos to become our known ecosystem, also created reflections of its nature, enveloped in flesh. These fleshy human creatures are all the same Being’s experience of its miracle nature.
Our sensors are its sensors. Our signals are its language. Its functions fulfill its desires. Its senses feel, touch, taste, smell and see what it feels, touches, tastes, smells and sees. Its desires impel our desires. Its gifts begin cycles of perception, metabolism, experience, creation, life and more miracles of reality to behold and recognize as our collective cosmic miracle nature’s dream reality.
Love the Being whose nature, dreams, life and miracles you experience as your bliss reality, your dreams come true, your own nature’s intelligence. Love the Being whose body you feel, smell, recognize as your favorite scents, tastes, sounds and sights to perceive. Love being perceptive! Love being sensitive! Love the wealth of nuanced sensations your sensors are capable of metabolizing into experience!
Love coming along for a ride every time your body moves, creates, speaks, bursts into tears or laughter. Love sharing your gifts of being You!
Love being US, altogether, bliss fulfilled miracle bodies, fused into Being a single miracle of a single Cosmic Life experience.
Celebrate all the time! Treat your body like the 3 month old baby you were. Dependent on care givers, aware of very little around you, having zero control over anything, least of all your muscle movements or self expressions. But when you smiled that first time, applause exploded around you! Pictures were taken, stories told, happiness was overflowing. Love your baby steps. Love your gifts, love giving them, and love receiving gifts from complementary others.
Release all expectations of yourself. They are either lies from the past, or rules invented to constrain or coerce rather than celebrate small miracles.
Love Your Body’s Reality
We are socialized to think of our lives as a string of memorable moments, that make us worthy or unworthy, a Somebody or a Nobody. The rest of the time, we discount as Doing Nothing.
When we aren’t scoring points, we feel undeserving of miracles. But what about Conception? Gestation? Metabolism? Renewal? Dreaming new dreams? These are essential steps in the creation cycle. The bigger the dream, the longer it takes to evolve the consciousness that can conceive it.
For every hour of creative Doing, we must focus inward for 4 hours, in order to know what to create. The same is true after the creative part is done. We must spend hours renewing, revitalizing and rekindling the creative fire.
Change your story about down time.
Call it inner work. Call it purification: releasing the old and metabolizing the new dream.
Rewrite the scam stories we inherited from our mentally ill ancestors about human life. We are experiences of the One Being who lives the fulfillment of its dream through all life forms. We are not separate beings, in competition for survival.
We are powerless as bodies and omnipotent as cosmic consciousness, when acting as a single cosmic miracle. But we have to release our own agendas that collide head-on, with nature.
We have no frequencies of our own.
Not a single desire, or thought. We have no awareness of anything until SELF-consciousness signals its will to live its reality through our body.
Nothing is up to our body. It can’t change, fix, save, help, give or do anything. It has no agenda of its own. Consciousness acts, becomes, lives, creates and relates through all forms. If you don’t like what SELF lives as your experience, change your story about yourself. But never blame anyone. Only Life has a say in what is or is not to be the body’s reality.
These remedial practices can replace much suffering with bliss and add many years to your life.
We become experienced by life in eighteen steps. I felt these steps for each belief or identity that I asked to change. At each stage, the destruction of dead dream fragments in the soul comes first, followed by a renewal of the forms that reflect the life and miracle nature of the body If you want to change your beliefs, these are the sixteen steps it takes for the old to become purged and created into new life, new dream, new bliss self fulfillment and new body’s experience of reality as bliss.
